At this stage, only the name of the nominee is required.  Also, there is no need to provide the names of any potential editorial team members during this initial phase of the nomination process. All nominees will be contacted to ascertain interest. A selection committee of prominent scholars will then choose a short list of two to four candidates, who will then submit a five-page position paper, followed by an interview with the selection committee.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Under current AMA policy, the selection committee consists of AMA\u2019s Vice President of Publications (Chair), a past editor of <em>JMR<\/em>, a representative of AMA\u2019s Academic Council, three at-large members, and a member of AMA\u2019s professional publications staff.
